Spanish Related Resources

  • World Language Content Standards for California Public School (k-12) – Describes in great detail what California’s uniform vision is regarding students learning a world language.
  • Digital Dialects Language Games – Is a website that features free to use online games to aid you in learning Spanish.  The website includes games to learn Spanish phrases and greetings, numbers, food, units of time, animals, clothing, colors, and fruits and vegetables.
  • Word Reference – Although is Google Translate has good qualities, it is not the most reliable source in getting correct grammar. Word Reference translates and does much more such as verb conjugations.


School & Community Resources

  • FAFSA – This link directs you to the website to fill out a free application for federal student aid. If you are planning on furthering your education after high school, I suggest you complete your FAFSA in your junior year if possible.  
  • Commission on Teacher Credentialing – This website is basically the hub for all things that have to do with California educators.
  • The Content Standards website is public information on California’s Common Core Standards for all subject.

  • Living Images is a fantastic website that brings history to life!
  • Live Binders is a virtual binder that allows you to organize all your online resources in a neat fashion. I think its super cool! 
  • Delicious is another information collection website that promises you to never lose a link again. This is a lot more reliable and organized that the bookmarks built in to most internet browsers.
