¡Hola clase y bienvenidos a la clase de español! Yo soy la señora Juarez! Hi class and welcome to Spanish class, I am your teacher Mrs. Juarez!
Here is a brief background of myself... I earned my Bachelor’s degree in business marketing years ago from Cal State Fullerton. Although, I did enjoy a lot of what marketing entailed, I always had a sinking feeling that it was not where I should be. I finally decided to listen to my gut feeling and pursue what I feel I was made for…Teaching! Even though it took me a while to get to where I am today, I do feel that nothing happens by accident and there was a great purpose for me to learn everything I did in Marketing. For sure I know that a lot of the skills I learned are going to be useful in a classroom. I have always enjoyed anything and everything that has to do with technology and during my marketing work life I was in charge of e-mail marketing, company blogs, managing social media channels, and creating images. With that being said, I am extremely excited for this course and you can definitely expect to have a lot of technology incorporated in our classroom!
I am very excited to be your teacher and it is my promise to you, to give you 110% of myself so that you can succeed in this class.
On a personal side a few interesting things about me are that my favorite color is pink, I am a Disney fanatic, I love Photoshop, and I love to Salsa dance!
